Holiday Fascination

"When we recall Christmas past, we usually find
that the simplest things -not the great occasions -
give off the greatest glow of happiness." ~ Bob Hope

As a toddler, my daughter was fascinated by all things Holiday.

I remember those kind of tree stands before they all turned plastic with big water reservoirs.

That's such an adorable picture, like something on a Christmas card with a sentiment about the wonder of Christmas. Just lovely!

Dianne's right, though, the time goes by so fast.

Sorry I'm so late in responding to comments. Life has picked up a bit with the Holidays and all.

Thank you Ruma! She really was an angel then. :)

Thanks Dianne! The time does fly by. Those Holidays when my daughter was little were so special--but also exhausting. :)

I'm glad you like it, Linda! Great idea--maybe I'll make a card out of it next year. :) We have a big plastic tree stand now, too, which means we don't have to tie the tree to the wall anymore to keep it from falling over. lol!

What a beautiful photo! The joy and wonder on her face just sums up the whole season, doesn't it?

Thanks Penny! It really does. Hard to believe that was 15 years ago.

I'm so far behind on reading my favorite blogs (yours included). . . I'll try to catch up after Christmas. :)

Thanks, Ruma! I'm glad to have met you, too!

I've still been on the go quite a bit but I'm looking forward to catching up with you when school starts again. :)

May the New Year bring you all good things!
