Hi Barb! Thanks for stopping by! Things are fine here--just very busy. I keep thinking life will slow down a bit so I can get back to blogging but it hasn't happened yet.
We have some snow here on the mountain but not much. It's scary dry right now--and so early in the season. There were three fires burning in the Jeffco foothills the day before yesterday with one in Conifer. I am so not ready for fire season.
How about you? How are things on your side of the divide? Are you still waist deep in snow? You've had lots of it this winter and have been getting more lately so I imagine it's not melted much at this point.
I took a look at your recent posts--love the signs of spring you found in Denver. :)
Hi Again, Lisa! Couldn't find your E-mail, so will reply here. I saw that the fire was near Conifer a couple days ago. It's so scary with the wind we've been having in CO! My son and Family live in Evergreen, so I was concerned, but the blaze was far from their house. Meanwhile, our snow in Breckenridge will not be melted until sometime in May (if I'm lucky!). However, in Denver (where we have a "get away" house), it's very dry. The Header photo is of Peak 10 - my house is just off Peak 10 at the ski area. I took that photo coming off the ridge at the Imperial Chair which goes up to 12,840'. Don't work too hard!
Hi Barb! Sorry about the email issue. It looks like my profile got switched to private somehow so I changed it back.
Our snow is usually not gone until the end of May as well! It's so unusual to have so little snow. At least the wind has died down--I can sleep tonight. :)
I live nearly two miles high atop a mountain in the Colorado Rockies.
As a photographer, life in the mountains is always inspiring, and, as a nature lover, never dull.

Hi Lisa, Nice to see a post from you! Hope all is well. I didn't even know of "Earth Hour." Thanks for the info. Is there still lots of snow by you?
