New Images and Products Added to EcoPrints!

I haven't been around the Blogosphere much lately because I've been working hard on expanding my product line for EcoPrints!

I've added 15 Images for Framed Prints (including the image below) and 6 new Greeting Card images.

View from my deck: A morning cloud
hangs over the moon and Black Mountain.

I'll hopefully now have a little time to catch up with everyone. :)

WOW Lisa... what a beautiful photo! The cloud is so pretty and I always love a daytime view of the moon!

It's great to see you! I missed you. :o)

Thanks Krista! I just love those "Maxfield Parrish" mornings. :)

It's great to see you, too! I've really been missing you and the rest of the blogging gang. I wanted to see how your latest trip to Mexico went but I just haven't had the time. I'm hoping I can stop by this weekend.

Thanks for saying "Hi"!

A remarkable shot! Love the colour of that tree. Not sure I understand why it's called 'black' mountain though.

Thank you Rick! I'm not sure why it's called Black Mountain. Perhaps because if you live in its shadow you hardly ever see the sun.

What a gorgeous view to have from your deck; I'd love to have that kind of view! Heck, I'd love to have a deck, too!

I'm not sure if I like the tree or the cloud more ... or even the hill and the moon. Too many nice elements to pick just one!

LOL @ "because if you live in its shadow you hardly ever see the sun." I think that the combination of colors in that shot is very interesting. It almost has a desert look to it.

I think so, too, Linda! And this is just our lower deck from the side. I'll have to put up some photos taken from our upper deck. :) It was just one of those magical mornings.

It's all too true Cherie. Especially in the winter. I'm glad we live on top of the mountain instead of below it. ;) It does kind of look desert-like, doesn't it?

Hey Lisa..just gorgeous! Yes, it has a delightful desert appeal to it (I love that) and the clouds over the mountain with the trees are bring pure enchantment!!what a view from your deck-lucky you! Terrific idea too. So I understand this past April made twenty years on the Mountain for you guys then? Congrats! How did your daughters room come out..you finished? I'm on the blk berry moderating cause its getting late- but made sure to copy before I close in case I loose it! Regina-

Thanks so much Regina! Yes, we are definitely lucky to be living here. Though with the 80 mph winds that howled all last night, I wasn't so sure. . . I didn't get much sleep. :(

You're correct. We've been on the mountain 20 years. It hardly seems possible! The time has gone by so quickly. My daughter's room came out beautifully. Thanks for asking!

That's great you can keep up with your blog from a cell phone!

Kilauea Poetry said...

Oh that's cool..so the wind was strong huh!? How wonderful it must be! Glad the work payed off too.
Ya..it's a little hard and I screw up a lot on the phone (with the text) but at least I don't disturb the guy snoring next (lol) and I can relax better.

The wind can be neat--as long as you're sure the roof on your house will hold. LOL! Good point about the phone. :)

Oh wow..serious? Must be intense, but I guess your up in the mountains!
You have a fire going? Uh oh..thats not good-

Lisa (Mountain Photog) said...

Yup, a wildfire and 50 mph winds (which we had during the day today) is not a good combination. They have it under control now though and the folks who were evacuated earlier were allowed back to their homes this evening. It's a bit early for fire season--but not unheard of. It does tend to put one on edge, though. Time to get evacuation boxes at the ready. . .

Kilauea Poetry said...

I hate fires..hope they put it out and everyone is safe! I'd be on edge too! Keep me posted..I'll check back-

Lisa (Mountain Photog) said...

Thanks for your concern, Regina! The fire is 100% contained as of this morning. Whew! We've been through some pretty intense fire seasons so it's hard not to experience anxiety when you hear of one nearby. They can get out of control very quickly. . .

Do you have wildfires in Hawaii from the volcanoes?

Kilauea Poetry said...

So irritating..I just lost my comment..on my phone (cough) ha ha..so I'm in the other room (grin). Wow, I'm so happy that fires contained Lisa!! Small fires break out in the bush near the vacinity of the beach/Kalapana out break which is pretty active (not so much up on the Mountain. Might sound confusing but there are two break-outs..On the mountain itself and the beach. I'll see if I can dig a link up. But there have been serious fires here and there on the Island (the regular kind). Can be so devastating huh!
I was thinking about blogging tonight in general. When you mentioned history lesson I had to laugh. I do think its good to include something different but sort of feeling it out. I mean I don't want to overwhelm anyone and come off like Hawaii is more special than the next spot on the planet (lol) but it just so hard for me to slap a picture up for picture sake? Have you noticed those City Daily Photos? People post them daily..every day! But you can only do one I think..hmm, maybe not..unless it's a separate post maybe. Anyway, it would almost seem limiting wouldn't it? Ok, for me? I'm not sure I'd be so creative, ha. I don't so I end up with a series. The memes are similar..but I do them off an on. Sorry, just some loud thoughts. Hope you have a great evening or morning which ever when you get this..

Hi Regina! Don't you hate when you lose something you've written? It's so much harder to reconstruct than to construct in the first place. :(

I enjoy learning a little more about a place--but I love history. However, I tend to gravitate toward blogs that mainly focus on photos. Mostly due to the time factor. It's not that I don't enjoy wordy blogs, I just don't usually have time to read a lot of text.

I'd like to include more information in a lot of my posts as well but I want the focus to be more on photography. I'm thinking of other ways to do this, though. Perhaps send readers to a different link for more information, or have a different blog. . . Decisions, decisions. LOL!

You have a good day, too!

I agree..it can be done (lol) till later, me-
