Happy Halloween!

"When witches go riding,
and black cats are seen,
the moon laughs and whispers,
‘tis near Halloween."

I've been too busy of late to post much but I did want to wish everyone a very Happy Halloween!

Hopefully I'll be able to catch up soon and post some photos of the recent blizzard that dumped 45" of snow on us. We're still digging out. . . We normally get about a foot of snow here on Halloween but nearly four feet? That was quite the Halloween trick.

Oy, is right, Dianne! Yes, it's quite the mess in Denver but it's not melting much here on the mountain. I imagine the snow will just keep piling up until May now. Oy, again! LOL!

I saw your Halloween post but haven't had a chance to comment yet. Very cute photos! Halloween is so much more fun when there are little ones around. :)

What a wonderful verse, and great witch! Happy Halloween to you, too!

I am so grateful for our weather here. Hope all goes well for you.

Good grief! 45 inches? My friend is supposed to fly out there this week to visit with his son. I wonder if this will happen.
I hope you had a Happy Halloween. Lisa

Thanks, Bobbie and Lisa! It's been warm and sunny the past two days so the snow is actually melting some.

Looks like this week will be beautiful, Lisa--mostly sunny with highs in the 60s. Ahhhh, you gotta love Colorado! Good thing he wasn't here last week, though!

I don't envy you the early winter out there which is going to make it seem like forever until spring - even more so than usual. They mentioned possible snow showers in our forecast for Thursday this week and I almost threw something at the TV! Not yet! Not yet!

I love New England but NOT in the winter!

LOL, Linda! I know what you mean about the New England winter. I grew up in New Hampshire so I know a little about that. And although we get quite a lot more snow here than we did in New Hampshire, and it comes earlier and stays later, the winter doesn't seem as long because we get so much more sun along with the snow. And no ice storms! Be careful with your TV, though. They can be expensive to replace. LOL!
